Serbian bourse BELEX15 adds 1.99%, Messer soars

February 13 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 1.99% higher at 917.78 points on Tuesday, boosted by a rise in the share price of industrial gases producer Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS], bourse data showed.

Messer added 12.52% to 21,963 dinars. A total of 318 Messer shares changed hands generating the day's largest turnover of 7 million dinars.

Aerodrom Nikola Tesla [BEL:AERO] paced the blue-chip decliners, shedding 1.10% to 1,800 dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index also rose, by 1.54% to 1,994.56 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse fell to 26.3 million dinars ($240,100/224,000 euro) on Tuesday from 39.2 million dinars on Monday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 8.9 million dinars of Tuesday's turnover.
