Serbian bourse BELEX15 adds 0.54%, Messer rises

February 12 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.54% higher at 899.90 points on Monday, boosted by a rise in the share price of industrial gases producer Messer Tehnogas [BEL:TGAS], bourse data showed.

Messer added 6.62% to 19,519 dinars. A total of 992 Messer shares changed hands generating the day's largest turnover of 19.3 million dinars.

Construction company Jedinstvo [BEL:JESV] closed 0.14% higher at 7,010 dinars.

At the other end, civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL] paced the blue-chip decliners, falling 11.76% to 300 dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index also rose, by 0.51% to 1,964.31 points.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse rose to 39.2 million dinars ($360,100/334,400 euro) on Monday from 27.8 million dinars on Friday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 2.6 million dinars of Monday's turnover.
