Serbian bourse BELEX15 adds 0.33%, Energoprojekt surges

April 10 (SeeNews) - The blue-chip BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange closed 0.33% higher at 1,002.85 points on Wednesday, supported by gains in civil engineering group Energoprojekt [BEL:ENHL], bourse data showed.

Energoprojekt closed 10.76% higher at 350 dinars in a volume of ten shares.

Oil and gas company NIS [BEL:NIIS] paced the blue-chip decliners, shedding 0.67% to 894 dinars. A total of 14,246 NIS shares changed hands generating the day's largest turnover of 12.7 million dinars.

The broader BELEXline, a free-float market capitalisation weighted index, also rose, closing 0.42% higher at 2,163.24.

Total turnover on the Belgrade bourse nearly doubled to 94.8 million dinars ($879,200/809,400 euro) on Wednesday from 49.5 million dinars on Tuesday. Trading in Treasury bonds accounted for 79.4 million dinars of Wednesday's turnover.
