Serbian Blue-Chip Komercijalna Banka 9-Mo Net Profit Rises 57.5% - Table

November 20 (SeeNews) - Serbian blue-chip bank Komercijalna Banka’s net profit for the first nine months of 2008 rose 57.5% from a year earlier to 2.07 billion dinars ($29.5 million/23.6 million euro), central bank figures showed on Thursday.

Komercijalna Banka ranked the third biggest bank in Serbia at the end of September with total assets of 158 billion dinars.

There were 35 banks active in Serbia in the first nine months of 2008. The top two by assets were the Belgrade-based units of Italy’s Banca Intesa and Austria’s Raiffeisenbank.
