Serbian Aigo-led team wins 3.9 mln euro university supply project – TED

BELGRADE (Serbia), December 18 (SeeNews) – A consortium led by Serbian printer distributor Aigo has won a 3.9 million euro ($5.1 million) order from the European Union for the supply of equipment and furniture to Serbian universities, a contract award notice in the EU’s procurement journal indicated on Tuesday.

The contract involves the supply of ICT, audio-video, IT and library equipment to state universities, the notice published in the Tender Electronics Daily (TED) showed.

The other partners in the consortium are Serbian IT company Saga and Macedonian company Orange Technology.

The funding was provided under EU's Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA).

Serbia joined the EU accession programme in November 2007. The EU has allocated to the country 1.1 billion euro under the IPA programme for the 2007-2012 period.
