December 22 (SeeNews) - Following is a schedule of corporate, economic and political events taking place in or related to Serbia through April 14. New or amended entries are marked (*).

* Tuesday, December 22 – Stockholm: Serbia’s President Boris Tadic submits Serbia’s EU membership application to Sweden, which holds the bloc's presidency.

* Tuesday, December 22 – Belgrade: Serbia’s associations for business cooperation with Russia and Belarus hold a joint session on doing business in The Commonwealth of Independent States. Serbia’s Chamber of Commerce President Milos Bugarin and Russia’s Ambassador to Belgrade, Alexander Konuzin, open the session. (1000 GMT)

* Tuesday, December 22 – Belgrade: Serbia’s Trade and Services Ministry and the country’s statistics office hold a joint news conference on Serbia’s business climate, trends and corporate expectations. (1100 GMT)

* Tuesday, December 22 – Leskovac: An 80 million euro southern arm of the country's eastern regional waterworks system opens. (1100 GMT)
