Serbia posts 9.0% jobless rate in Q3

In the third quarter of 2019, Serbia's jobless rate was 9.5%, the statistical office said earlier this week.

In the July-September period, the unemployment rate among men was 8.8% and among women, it was 9,4%, the data indicated.

The employment rate in Serbia increased to 49.9% in the third quarter, up from 49.6% a year earlier. In the third quarter of 2020, the employment rate was 48.2%.
