- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) sees encouraging signs of recovery in the Serbian economy, the IMF resident representative in Serbia, Bogdan Lissovolik, said.

- Serbia will have to start importing wheat next year unless it sows 400,000 hectares with the crop, Srbislav Dencic from the Grain Department of the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops said without elaborating. Serbia put around 250,000 hectares under wheat this year, Dencic said.
- Demand on Serbia’s property market has picked up over the past two months after stagnating since the onset of the economic crisis, industry officials said.

- Serbian food company Aleva, part of Flory Trading Group, will invest between 5.0 million euro and 7.0 million euro in the construction of a new factory this winter, company owner Hristivoje Milosevic said.
