- The value of the consumer basket in Belgrade is the lowest among other capitals in the region, while Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana has the most expensive consumer basket, the broadcaster reported quoting local media. The average monthly salary in Serbia is 334 euro compared to 930 euro in Slovenia.

- The government in Belgrade will issue guarantees worth 210 billion dinars, $703 million and 1.7 billion euro for loans taken by state-owned companies in 2010.

- Belgrade citizens owe the city more than 3.0 billion dinars in unpaid property taxes, the city’s Public Revenue Directorate said.
