The combined installed capacity of the SHPPs that could be built under this tender is 57 megawatts while the total investment could reach some 130 million euro ($179 million), the ministry said in a statement.

Interested investors are each eligible to apply by the end of February for up to 10 locations.

The ministry plans to sign memoranda of understanding for all locations by the end of May.

Following a similar public call issued earlier this year, Serbian energy minister Zorana Mihajlovic signed In July trilateral memoranda of understanding with the representatives of the respective municipalities and investors for the construction of SHPPs in 212 locations.
