The state aid to Erenli for the construction of a factory in Leskovac, in eastern Serbia, is in accordance with the regulations, the commission said in a notice on Monday.

The Turkish investor pledged to open 338 jobs at the factory, the commission added.

Erenli plans to implement the project through its Serbian subsidiary Erenli Leskovac established in May 2021.

According to the investment project, the automotive cooling systems manufactured in Leskovac will be sold to Daimler Mercedes, FCA, PSA, Renault, Nissan, Volkswagen, Kia, BMW and Hyundai.
