Serbia GDP growth speeds up to annual 3.8% in Q4

Compared to the third quarter of 2023, Serbia's gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.9% in October-December, according to seasonally adjusted GDP data, the statistical office said in a data release.

The year-on-year comparison released on Thursday affirms the flash estimate published last month by the statistical office.

Last month, the government said it expects the country’s economy to grow by 3.5% in 2024.

In 2022, Serbia's economy expanded by 2.3%.
