Serbia extends bread price cap for six more months

May 23 (SeeNews) - Serbia’s government said on Thursday it has extended for a further six months the limit of 54 dinars ($0.50/0.46 euro) on the retail price of a loaf of bread made from the most common T-500 type of wheat flour.

Additionally, an amended decree to limit the prices of essential food items has been adopted to protect the market and support low-income consumers, the government added.

The producer price cap has been set at 46.31 dinars.
