Serbia C-bank Steps in Again To Support Falling Dinar

BELGRADE (Serbia), October 7 (SeeNews) – Serbia’s central bank on Tuesday said it intervened for a second straight day in a bid to support the falling dinar currency.

Serbia C-bank Steps in Again To Support Falling Dinar

The National Bank of Serbia intervened by selling 10 million euro ($13.7 million) on the local foreign exchange market, it said in a statement.

Before the intervention the dinar changed hands at 79.9212 per euro. After the central bank stepped in, the dinar gained ground to 79.1725 per euro, the statement said.

On Monday, the central bank intervened by selling 40 million euro.
