The average sale price per square metre of new dwellings rose 24.1% on the year to 2,851 marka ($1,575/1,458 euro) in the review period, the Institute of Statistics of the Serb Republic said in a quarterly report on Friday.
The usable floor area of the new dwellings sold in the first quarter of 2024 increased by 6.3% in comparison with the same period of 2023.
The number of new dwellings sold in the entity rose 18.3% on the year in 2023, while the average sale price per square metre went up 2.9%, the same statistical office has said earlier.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
