February 13 (SeeNews) - Romanian technology company Visual Fan [BSE:ALW], which owns the Allview brand, said on Tuesday it has bought an additional 9% stake in Intervision Trading, bringing its total stake in the local distributor of Japanese brand AKAI products in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) to 70%.
The remaining 30% Intervision Trading is owned by other entities, including Intervision Trading's executive director, who owns 2%, Visual Fan said in a statement filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

Visual Fan, founded in Brasov in 2002, manufactures smartphones, smart home systems, tablets, laptops and other gadgets under the Allview brand.
Founded in 1996 and an AKAI distributor since 2009, Intervision Trading posted a net profit of 3.5 million lei ($757,040/703,350 euro) in 2022, according to finance ministry data. Intervision distributes AKAI products in Romania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Greece, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Montenegro, Moldova, Albania, and Ukraine.
Visual Fan's shares traded 3.05% higher at 13.5 lei by 0938 CET on Tuesday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
