Romania's Transelectrica signs 21.17 mln euro deal for station upgrade

December 4 (SeeNews) - Romanian power grid operator Transelectrica [BSE:TEL] said it has signed a 21.17 million euro ($27.6 million) contract for the upgrade of a 400/110/20 kilovolt Tulcea Vest station in southeastern Romania.

The operator signed the 30-month contract with France's Alstom Grid and local companies Alstom Grid Romania, Electromontaj and Retrasib, Transelectrica said in a statement on Monday.

The value of the contract excludes value-added tax.
