The factory, the largest in the company's portfolio, will be inaugurated this autumn, Symmetrica said in a press release.

To finance the investment, Symmetrica has taken a loan worth 35 million euro from BCR, Erste Group's Romanian unit.

The new factory will boost the company's total production by 30%, having a capacity of 15,000 sq m per day. It will have 4 manufacturing lines in the first phase and also lines for surface processing, special treatments, and for splitting concrete blocks.

The production facility will be located on a plot of over 120,000
sq m and will have a built-up area of 18,000 sq m. It will also have two photovoltaic parks located on a 20,000 sq m plot of land that will provide the unit 60% of the energy required for operating.

Established in 1999, Symmetrica owns production facilities in the counties of Suceava, Iasi, Brasov, Bistrita-Nasaud, Vrancea, Arad, Constanta, and near the capital Bucharest.
