Romania's STK Emergent cuts stake in Bermas to 4.72%

October 12 (SeeNews) - Romanian brewer Bermas [BSE:BRM] said on Friday local closed end investment fund STK Emergent [BSE:STK] has cut its stake in the company to 4.72%.

STK Emergent cut the number of Bermas shares it owns to 1,016,902 from 1,445,402 in a deal that took place on October 9, the brewer said in a statement.

The half-year net profit of Bermas fell 22% to 606,400 lei ($172,250/132,800 euro) while turnover edged up to 11.5 million lei from 11.3 million.

Bermes shares were last traded 1.0% down at 1.4 lei at 0951 GMT on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
