Romania's Sphera Franchise opens new KFC restaurant

The new Drive Thru restaurant, spanning 340 sq m, marks the first KFC unit in the city and has a capacity of 96 indoor and outdoor seats, the company said in a press release.

The Hunedoara restaurant is staffed by 50 people.

Sphera Franchise Group operates over 160 KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants in Romania, Italy and Moldova, employing some 5,000 people.

Blue-chip Sphera Franchise's shares traded 0.58% higher at 34.7 lei ($7.56/6.97 euro) as of 1527 CET on Monday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
