The sale is part of SIF Moldova's strategy to divest assets from its historical portfolio which have exhausted their growth potential, the company said in a filing to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
The transaction involving 1,162,275 shares, was serviced by SIF Moldova's unit Asset Invest.
As at 14:45 CET on Tuesday, SIF Moldova shares traded 1.43% lower at 1.375 lei on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
By the same hour, SPIT Bucovina shares traded at 2.80 lei, nearly triple their last closing price of 1.02 lei.
