Romania's Renovatio Solar delivers 300 kWp PV project to Ana Hotels

A total of 650 PV panels were mounted on the Crowne Plaza hotel and atop an office building belonging to the group, Renovatio Solar said in a press release.

"We wanted to go to the next level with our sustainability initiatives and with the help of Renovatio Solar we put photovoltaic panels into operation, which will partially cover consumption needs for the Crowne Plaza hotel and for our company's headquarters, following investments amounting to approximately 300,000 euros ($324,841)", said Simona Constantinescu, CEO of Ana Hotels.

The Ana Hotels group is owned by Romanian businessman George Copos and comprises the Crowne Plaza and InterContinental Athenee Palace hotels in Bucharest, the Sportul, Bradul, and Poiana hotels in the mountain resort of Poiana Brasov, as well as Hotel Europa and Ana Health Spa in the seaside resort of Eforie Nord.

Renovatio Solar is part of the Renovatio Group and is active in the delivery of turnkey photovoltaic projects. Renovatio Group has operations in Romania, Portugal, Columbia, Poland, Bulgaria, Greece, Moldova and Italy.
