On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage increased by 6.3% in December, INS said in a data release.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage rose by 15.5% on the year in December, while rising by 6.6% on the month, to 5,079 lei ($1,100/1,020 euro).
In December, the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products sector reported the highest average net wage at 12,710 lei. The lowest net average wage, of 2,825 lei, was recorded in the accommodation and food service industries.
