November 7 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage grew by a real 10.8% year-on-year in September, after gaining 9.8% in August, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage was 1.1% higher in September, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage increased by 14.7% on the year and rose by 1.2% on the month in September, to 3,082 lei ($718/647 euro).
The highest net average wage of 7,108 lei was registered in IT, while the lowest, of 1,762 lei, was recorded in manufacture of wearing apparel.
