Romania's real net wage annual growth rate stays flat in July - table

September 7 (SeeNews) - Romania's average net monthly wage grew by a real 13.5% year-on-year in July, after it increased at the same annual rate in June, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.

On a monthly comparison basis, net wages grew by a real 0.5% in July, following a 0.7% rise in June, the National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a monthly labour market report.

In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage increased by 15.1% on the year and by 0.5% on the month in July, reaching 2,391 lei ($620/520 euro).

The highest net average wage of 6,009 lei was registered in IT-related activities, while the lowest, of 1,418 lei, was recorded in hotel and restaurant business.
