The company will restart production of soda lye, chlorine, hydrochloric acid, and sodium hypochlorite, the economy ministry said in a statement.
Oltchim also plans to relaunch its membrane electrolysis, electrolysis with mercury, propenoxide and polyether sections starting in the second decade of November.
Oltchim halted production in August as it lacked money to pay salaries and buy raw materials.
Earlier this month the government cancelled the sale of its 54.8% stake in Oltchim, saying the winner in the tender, Romanian journalist and politician Dan Diaconescu, had failed to sign the privatisation contract by the set deadline.
