Romania's Nov Residential Building Permits Down 15.4% Y/Y

As many as 62.1% of the permits issued in November were for projects in the country's rural areas, INS said in a statement.

The number of permits for residential buildings issued in the first eleven months of 2009 fell by 20.8% from a year earlier to 45,324. INS issues no figure for the value of the projects which were granted permits.

In 2008 the number of permits issued for residential buildings in Romania rose by 7.9% to 61,092.
