Romania's Meta Estate books 1.5 mln lei (297,000 euro) profit from partial exit transaction

December 2 (SeeNews) - Romanian real estate developer Meta Estate Trust [BSE:MET] said that it booked a profit of 1.46 million lei ($308,000/297,000 euro), following a partial exit from one of the projects in its portfolio in the capital Bucharest.

The initial investment in the project was 2.61 million lei, Meta Estate said in a report filed with the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

The company did not provide additional information about the project.

Meta Estate Trust is a Romanian real estate company established in 2021. Since its formation, the company has invested over 17 million euro ($17.6 million) in 24 real estate projects.

The company booked a net profit of 3.7 million lei ($780,870/752,300 euro) in the first nine months of 2022, compared to a net loss of 699,266 lei in the like period of last year.

Its shares last traded 1.15% higher at 0.88 lei as of 1049 CET on Friday on the AeRO market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
