October 16 (SeeNews) - Romanian retailer Mega Image said on Tuesday it will open a new supermarket in Bucharest on October 17.

Romania's Mega Image to open new supermarket in Bucharest

The store has a retail area of about 400 square metres and will operate under the Mega Image brand, the retailer said in a statement.

The company also said it plans to open another five new stores by the end of October.

Mega Image, controlled by Belgian food retailer Delhaize, operates 156 supermarkets in Romania, including 119 stores under the Mega Image brand and 37 Shop&Go units.
