BUCHAREST (Romania), November 16 (SeeNews) – Romania's technical consumer goods market fell by an annual 42.3% to 1.0 billion euro ($1.5 billion) in the first nine months of the year, as sales in all segments decreased, market research company GfK Romania said on Monday.
In the third quarter alone, the market totalled 336 million euro, 45.8% down on the year, it said in a statement.
The sales of office equipment and consumables suffered most in the January-September period, falling by 53.2%. Sales of small domestic appliances were the least affected in the first nine months, dipping by 23.2%.
