December 2 (SeeNews) - The number of tourists staying in Romania in the first ten months of 2019 rose by 4.1% on the year to more than 11.53 million, the country's statistical board, INS, said on Monday.
Tourists spent 26.2 million overnights in Romania in the January-October period, up 5.7% compared to the prior-year period, INS said.
In October alone, the number of tourists staying in Romania increased 1.2% on the year to 1.08 million, while overnights increased by 2.4% to some 2.35 million.

The number of tourists staying in Romania in 2018 rose 6.3% on the year to 12.8 million.
