December 8 (SeeNews) - Romania's retail sales volume rose by 15.7% on the year in the first 10 months of 2008, the National Statistics Institute (INS) said on Monday.

In October alone retail sales fell by 19% from September, but were 8.6% higher on the year.

NOTE: Vehicle sales include sales of passenger cars and other motor vehicles, as well as maintenance and repair revenue.
