September 7 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial sales fell by 17.1% year-on-year in the first seven months of 2009, the National Statistics Institute (INS) said on Monday.

Romania's Jan-July Industrial Sales Fall 17.1% Y/Y - Table

In July alone, industrial sales were 0.2% higher month-on-month and were 16.6% lower than a year earlier.

Romania's industrial sales rose by an annual 7.4% in the first seven months of 2008 and increased by 5.4% last year.
