Romania's industrial output falls 0.9% y/y in Q1

May 14 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial production decreased by a seasonally and working-day adjusted 0.9% year-on-year in the first three months of 2024, the national statistical office, INS, said on Tuesday.

On a non-adjusted comparison basis, industrial output fell by 2.7% year-on-year in the review period, INS said in a press release.

In March alone, industrial production grew by an adjusted 2.8% on the year while increasing by an adjusted 3.9% on the month. In unadjusted terms, industrial output fell by 4.2% on the year and was up 8.1% on the month.
