April 12 (SeeNews) - Romania's industrial production decreased by a seasonally and working-day adjusted 3.1% year-on-year in the first two months of 2024, the national statistical office, INS, said on Friday.
On a non-adjusted comparison basis, industrial output also fell by 1.8% in the review period, INS said in a press release.
In February alone, industrial production shrank by an adjusted 2.2% on the year while increasing by an adjusted 2.7% on the month. In unadjusted terms, industrial output inched up by 0.2% on the year and was up 10.8% on the month.
