Romania's GDP rises by revised 1.1% y/y in Q2, up 0.7% in H1 - table

October 5 (SeeNews) - Romania's gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by a real 1.1% on the year in the second quarter of 2012, revised data from the statistics board, INS, indicated on Friday.

The figure was revised from a 1.2% rise announced last month.

According to the revised data released by the INS, Romania's economy expanded by a real 0.7% on the year in the first half of 2012. The figure was revised from a 0.8% rise announced last month.

On a quarterly basis, the country's GDP grew by 0.5% in the second quarter, based on seasonally-adjusted data, in line with the initial figure released by the INS.
