According to the revised data released by the INS, Romania's economy expanded by a real 0.7% on the year in the first half of 2012. The figure was revised from a 0.8% rise announced last month.
On a quarterly basis, the country's GDP grew by 0.5% in the second quarter, based on seasonally-adjusted data, in line with the initial figure released by the INS.
