Following the fundraiser the bank’s capital will reach 245.7 million euro, Garanti said in a statement.
The bank plans to bring new services and products on the Romanian market in order to strengthen its competitiveness and respond to customer needs.
Romania’s Garanti Bank is part of the Turkiye Garanti Bankasi A.S., which is referred to as the second biggest bank in Turkey. Garanti has been operating in Romania since 1998 through Garanti Bank as well as a leasing unit, a consumer credit arm and a mortgage lender.
