Romania's Foreign Debt Rises to 45.364 Bln Euro at End-July - Table

Romania's foreign debt at the end of July was higher by a net 6.864 billion euro from the end of last year, the bank said in a statement.

The total figure comprises government debt and privately-held debt.

Details follow:

* Revised figures. The end-2007 debt figure was revised from 38.423 billion euro reported in August.

NOTES: Romania paid 6.016 billion euro on its foreign debt in the first seven months of the year. The foreign debt servicing rate, calculated as the ratio of debt payments to total exports, was 23.9% in the January-July period, compared to 21.8% in 2007.
