Romania's Fondul Proprietatea buys back over 7 mln own shares in Sept 23-27

October 1 (SeeNews) - Romanian property restitution fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] said that it has repurchased a total of 7,020,699 own shares in the period September 23 - 27.

The total value of the transactions in the review period amounted to some 8.23 million lei ($1.9 million/1.7 million euro), Fondul Proprietatea said in a bourse filing on Monday.

Since the start of the company's tenth share repurchase programme, Fondul Proprietatea has bought back a total of 354,099,582 own share and equivalent shares of GDRs, for a total of 380.28 million lei.

The number of shares left to be repurchased within the tenth buyback programme is 395,900,418.

As at 13:00 CET on Tuesday, Fondul Proprietatea shares traded -1.26% lower at 1.175 lei on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
