October 14 (SeeNews) - Romanian property restitution fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] said on Monday that it has repurchased a total of 6,474,631 own shares and equivalent shares of GDRs in the period October 7-11.
The total value of the transactions in the review period was 7.6 million lei ($1.8 million/1.6 million euro), Fondul Proprietatea said in a bourse filing.
Since the start of the company's tenth share repurchase programme, Fondul Proprietatea has bought back a total of 366,937,488 own shares and equivalent shares of GDRs, for a total of some 395.4 million lei.
The number of shares left to be repurchased within the tenth buyback programme is 383,062,512.
As at 11:20 CET on Monday, Fondul Proprietatea shares traded 0.84% higher at 1.20 lei on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
