Romania's FAN Courier opens hub in VGP's logistics park

December 6 (SeeNews) - Romanian delivery company FAN Courier has leased 10,000 sq m for its first international hub in a logistics park owned by Czech developer VGP Group in the western city of Arad, VGP said.

The leased space will be dedicated to serving FAN Courier's international online orders, VGP said in a press release on Tuesday.

VGP Park Arad is built on a land plot of 395,000 sq m and has a leasable area of 196,000 sq m, being suitable for logistics services, light manufacturing and commercial activities.

FAN Courier is a Romanian courier company established in 1998. It owns a fleet of over 5,000 delivery vehicles and employs some 7,500 people.

VGP was established in 1998 in the Czech Republic and currently owns retail and logistics parks in Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, France, Serbia, and Denmark, according to its website.
