Romania’s Eureko Asigurari H1 gross written premiums fall 0.56%

BUCHAREST (Romania), September 19 (SeeNews) – The Romanian unit of Dutch-registered insurer Eureko said its gross written premiums fell by 0.56% on the year to 21.4 million lei ($6.2 million/4.8 million euro) in the first half of the year.

Romania’s Eureko Asigurari H1 gross written premiums fall 0.56%

Premium income from life insurance rose by 0.26% on the year to 15.4 million lei in the first half, Eureko Aisgurari said in a statement on Tuesday.

Gross written premiums from health insurance decreased 2.45% on the year to 5.98 million lei through June, giving the insurer an estimated market share of 24.21% on this segment, it added.
