Romania's Eolica Dobrogea progresses with permitting of 48 MW of wind farms

BUCHAREST (Romania), September 17 (SeeNews) – Romania's Eolica Dobrogea said it had secured nearly all permits for two wind farm projects with a combined installed capacity of some 48 MW.

The Istria projects I and II in the Constanta county, in southeastern Romania, will include 24 wind turbines, most likely of the Spanish company Gamesa’s G97 model, the wind project developer said on its website on Friday.

The company is yet to secure certain documents for its 76 MW Istria III project.

"We expect that our first two projects at Istria will be fully permitted within the months to come," Eolica said.
