Romania's energy output rises 2.9% y/y in 2021

Imports rose 13.8% on the year, to 15.95 million TOE, INS said in a statement.

Romania's total energy resources in 2021 totaled 43.2 million TOE, up by an annual 4.4%.

The country's final energy consumption rose 7.9% year-on-year in 2021, to 25.37 million TOE.

A TOE is the rounded-off amount of energy that would be produced by burning one metric tonne of crude oil.
