April 25 (SeeNews) - Romania's M3, the broadest gauge of the country's money supply, increased by a nominal 6.4% on the year to 239.75 billion lei ($74.5 billion/53.8 billion euro) at the end of March, the country's central bank, BNR, said on Friday.
On a monthly basis, Romania's M3 declined 1.3% in March, BNR said in a statement.
In real terms, the M3 money supply was down 1.3% month-on-month and 5.3% higher on the year at the end of last month.
