Romania's Electrica expects almost flat gross profit in 2012 - govt

In 2011, Electrica posted a gross profit of 18.2 million lei, down from 51.6 million lei in 2010.

Electrica's revenues will reach 1.567 billion lei while costs will amount to around 1.549 billion lei this year, the government said in a statement on its website after approving the company's 2012 budget earlier this week.
