While production is suspended, employees can choose either to take paid leave and receive 100% of their salary, or to be paid 85%, Dacia's press office told SeeNews in an e-mail statement.
This decision was taken after the workers from the vehicle factory protested on Wednesday against Dacia's initial proposal according to which employees should take these days as paid leave.
Earlier, Dacia suspended production for maintenance in August. In June and July the factory also halted production for a day or two due to a drop in orders.
