Romania’s construction output down 7.9% y/y in Q1

May 20 (SeeNews) - Romania’s construction output fell by 7.9% on the year during the first three months of 2024, the country’s statistical office, INS, said on Monday, citing working-day adjusted data.

On a seasonally unadjusted comparison basis, construction production decreased by an annual 7.1% in the three months through March, INS said in a statement.

In March alone, the volume of construction works fell by an annually adjusted 1.2% and increased by an adjusted monthly 9.1%.
