The Competition Council's analysis has shown that the notified acquisition poses no significant threats to the national market and that there are no serious doubts regarding its compatibility with a regular competition environment, the anti-trust body said in a press release on Wednesday.

Bittnet Systems [BSE:BNET], the group's parent company, announced in December 2022 that it signed an agreement to take over 70% of Dataware Consulting's equity capital for 18.6 million lei ($4 million/3.73 million euro).

Dataware Consulting provides services and solutions for international vendors such as IBM, Fujitsu and Cisco.

Bittnet Systems comprises 14 companies. Established in 2007, the group is focused on providing IT training and integration solutions based on technologies such as Cisco, Microsoft, Dell, Oracle, HP, VMware, Google or Amazon Web Services.

Bittnet Systems' shares traded 0.34% lower at 0.2940 lei as of 1325 CET on Friday on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
