Romania’s annual bank deposits growth steady in Nov - table

December 28 (SeeNews) - The deposits of the non-government sector in Romanian banks grew 7.1% on the year in November, to 495.4 billion lei ($107.1 billion/100.5 billion euro, after increasing at the same rate in October, the central bank, BNR, said.

Leu deposits increased 7.6% on the year in November, reaching 320 billion lei, compared to 6.1% growth in October, BNR said in a monthly monetary statistics report on Tuesday.

Foreign currency deposits grew 6.4% on the year to 175.3 billion lei in November, after expanding by 8.9% the month before.
